Is the gear system still the same?

dont listen to him :) hes just mad, you dont get stats on your gear now, stat increases comes from augmentation, like better cyber skeletons and all, everything you wear is now cosmetic, you can look badass and feel badass

Sadly, most of the clothing is just cosmetic now (there are a few pieces here and there that might give you some (small) stat upgrades). It really takes some of the joy out of looting around the city, because you'll see a Level 5 box and get all excited and it's just some ugly ass hat that is pointless to even take because it won't help you at all.

Prior to v2 they added a transmog/wardrobe system where you can equip the ugly pants for the stats and effects, but make them look like something good.

Now the clothing has basically no stats or effects for the most part, but you can still wear the ugly pants and then make them look good with the wardrobe if they happen to have some effect.

There are still absurd numbers of things to wear and clothes are everywhere, just not on enemy corpses.

So tell me how much loot you get now on 2.0 compared to 1.63? I'd say 80% is being fair.

You don't get many clothes through looting anymore, unless you're in Dogtown, then you get too many clothes off of enemies.

Sure, there is still loot everywhere, but it's about 80% of the loot I'd find in 1.63 :)

Never had any issues with my bags.. just sold them or broke things down for parts.. kind of the flow of the game, lol.

Eliminating fun stuff to collect, look at and sell is saving me time? I enjoy managing inventories.. that's another part of RPGs I love.

Dude, these people have been doing this since I started posting here about thoughts/opinions/issue.. it's like if you're not a fanboy that doesn't think 2.0 is amazing and wants to discuss things, you're the worst person there is.
