Below 60 FPS on RTX 3060
FPS sh*t's itself outside , DLSS and AMD super resolution does nothing, changing presets does nothing, any idea what's causing frames to drain so much?

FPS gets above 80 inside BTW.
CPU bottleneck probably.

Hopefully you are playing at 1080p. Update your drivers, play on medium textures. Turn off RT, enable DLSS Auto. 1080p on a 3060 is easily doable in this game.

has a 3060, wants 4k/300 fps `
what do you expect with an entry lvl card?

Hardware unboxed just did a big deep dive into which settings impact performance and how much if thats any help?

If what you saying is true, there is an issue with your PC. Likely a cooling issue that bottlenecks you. A 3060 with DLSS activated should easily run 1080p on medium / high, unless you put RT into overdrive mode.

(Huge if, because nothing there checks out, even if it was a cooling issue. If no preset changes anything, then you got a situation that is kind of impossible and most likely just a troll attempt.)

3060 is a low mid grade card.

Low ram for new games (at least 32gb if u want to play on high)
3060 is low mid GPU, is mostly entry GPU.

Turn off RT and you will get 60fps.

Not sure what the rest of your PC specs are, but you should consider using lower settings. CP2077 is arguably the most graphically demanding big-budget game available today. And you are likely CPU bound.

I have had to heavily dial back settings even on my 3080 Ti. Only my 4090 can get reasonable FPS with all of the graphic settings dialed up, and that's still while using DLSS.

I highly recommend Hardware Unboxed's new optimized setting guide. They have two tiers of suggestions; one for quality, the other for performance.

I've linked to the relevant section of their video here: https://youtu.be/B03_Aa5NwIY?feature=shared&t=1348

What are your graphics settings? Are you running with RT on?
