How do i perform finishers with the mantis blades?

Do i need the bladerunner skill from the reflex tree? Is it considered a blade?

Yeah once you unlock the blade finishers, you can also do them with mantis blades.

you need the perk that allows you to do finishers. If you have that, they have to drop to a low health, like 10-20%? I don't know the exact number, then if you're close enough it will prompt you to hit "f" to use the finisher.

Edit: As far as I'm aware mantis blades are considered a bladed weapon, but I haven't touched them since the update.

I should also note, there is an audio cue when an enemy drops low enough and you're aiming in their direction, whether you're next to them or not. I recently noticed it myself.
