Cannot Progress in Phantom Liberty

I'm on the Birds With Broken Wings quest and it says wait 1 day for a call. Ive tried everything to trigger this. I've waited 23 hours. I've waited 24 hours. I've closed and re-opened the game. I've tried sleeping, using the pause menu time passage... Nothing allows me to continue further.

Any ideas here?

Save, quit the game, come back and load save game. Seems they reintroduced a 1.0 bug where the game won't recognize the passage of time till you restart the game. If you do that within a few mins it should pop up.

Funnily enough, it happens with Takemora again as well...

I tried so many things just now. Nothing works.

I've tried all styles of time passage.
I've tried reloading the game, reinstalling, rebooting, multiples of each.
I've tried doing quests that forward time to 'restart' the clock.
I've tried all kinds of fast travel and sleep combos.

Clock is 100% borked and I cannot progress.

Things I havn't tried...

Finding some mod that allows you to freeze time and seeing if freezing/unfreezing solves it.

However I have never installed a single mod for this game and I am a bit frustrated that I would potentially have to.

I hope they fix this officially.

No time adjusting mods do anything either. I am out of ideas...

EXACT same issue i'm having, there is very little info about this. I'm losing 10 hours of progress if I have to reload

Yeah I am facing about 8~ hours of lost playtime as well. Just makes me not want to play anymore.

I FOUND MY FIX FOR THIS PROBLEM *****

When I was in Dog Town an officer and his friend called me over and when i spoke with him, he was beat up and worried the boss man was going to kill him. In order to tell me his story, he wanted me to take some drugs he had. I was like naw I am cool on that. I got up and left.

Because my game was frozen, I went back to that guy as I couldn't do much else and I took the drugs and heard his story. World time returned to normal when that was over.

Bad design on CDPR's part if it's intentional.

Wanted to drop the fix in here for others if potentially they had the same problem.

Any solutions yet? I went back and redid the mission prior and it still doesn't progress time.

I did another mission that changed time but it didn't fix it. Maybe some time shift missions work and some dont? Not sure. Super frustrating bug.

Another bug I encountered was my phone turned red and could not be used ever and would not re-enable.

The fix was I found a quest in my quest journal that allowed me to click to text someone as one of the options and using the texting through that menu unlocked the phone again instantly.

I just came across this bug. Visiting a joytoy seems to help the passage of time chug forward. (i visited both of the jig-jig street workers just to make sure) Had to skip in game time a little but Reed finally called me and started receiving messages again. Hopefully it helps for y'all.
