Asus Rog performance

I normally play on the PC, but just curious if anyone tried playing CP2077 on the Asus ROG? If so, how's that experience and what settings were you using?

For the Rog Ally, I don't know, but personally, I played the game on the Legion Go and it worked perfectly. The two consoles being quite similar, I think it should work well on the Rog Ally.

I'm on ASUS ROG strix either g16 or g17 (can't remember which one) laptop. I have settings on highest except ultra does lag a bit so I put them on high instead. I also have a laptop cooler to help out and everything works smoothly. Though I would suggest reducing the crowd density for an even better gameplay.

Do you mean the ROG Ally?

I play on the Ally, both with and without the XG Mobile.

I just ran the built-in CP2077 Benchmark on the Ally Extreme standalone on the following presets using Intel Xe Super Sampling set to Balanced:
Preset Low: AVG 53 FPS
Preset Steam Deck: AVG 44 FPS

You can get higher FPS using worse methods of upscaling (I think FSR looks like garbage, imho, but gets 5-10 more FPS at equivalent settings) but the game is very playable with a stock Ally. I played the first act of my first playthrough this way.

This game convinced me to drop the extra money on the XG Mobile's RTX 4090 M when I got to the second act and could take the NCART -the design is so beautiful with Ray/Path Tracing! But it's not required to enjoy the game.

And quite of Asus products have ROG in the name but guessing you are talking about a Laptop?

so if you could list which laptop and what the specs are would be more helpful :)

i have it and it's certainly my favorite handled device but for CP2077, I had chosen to play it on the Legion Go and I did all the game on it without having any problems.
