cant get sandevistan to work

anyone know how to fix this ive tried swapping slots reloading my game and a couple other fixes but i cant get it to work

OK, to state the obvious, Sandevistan replaces your normal deck and is triggered with "e" on mouse and keyboard.

What exactly isn't working?

I trigger sandevistan with e, and I don't think I've changed any keybinds.
Although, it can't be triggered while on a phone call, which is insanely annoying.

I've noticed it will not work if the synaptic accelerator is active.

it's a bug, it's been around since forever... it works fine, then one time you go to activate it, and it's like it's not sensing the keypress, right? but it works for everything else, conversations, weapons, etc.

It's some dumb thing with armor. or weapons. or chrome.

Un-equiip what you can, and take off your all your clothes (you can hum Nelly's "hot in herrre!" if you want) and see if it activates... if so, re-dress... if not, go to a ripper and un-slot and then re-slot your various chrome.

As soon as someone says "I know exactly what it is!" it turns around and glitches another way. It's infuriating. But it doesn't happen that frequently. Most never see it.

Yeah, Sandevistan is great until it isn't. One moment it just stops working. Happened to me as I was storming Arasaka Tower.

Sometimes there is a zero timer still shown at the top of the screen. I find the best thing is to have a doc pull it out (I always go back to Vic). Then, take a shot of booze. This has a way of resetting timers. Let some time pass. In short, just keep messing about til it works again. There is some combo I havent quite nailed down.

That said, NEVER...

Gonna say this again NEVER,,,

EVER equip a Synaptic Accelerator AND a Sandy. If you trigger your Sandevistan and then enter combat, the Synaptic Accelerator will cancel and replace the Sandevistan effect with its own. You get no Sandy, your speed wears off in a few seconds, and your Sandy goes on cooldown.

Just avoid the conflict. Frankly, you are better off with a Kerenzikov and a Nanorelay. Not so much to extend the Sandevistan. Most fights are over before it runs out. More so to extend your Kerenzekov. IMO, Synaptic Accelerators are for builds running a Deck or a Zerk.

I've done a Blade and a Handgun build centered on the Qian'Ti Sandevistan. Many hours. Do as you will though.

Now that I read this, you were hitting the wrong button. Its definitely "E" not "Q."

Just read this anyway and you will be ready for the next Sandevistan moment.

The synaptic accelerator and sandy are great together. pop a dude in the head, accelerator activates, giving you time to pull off another kill or 2 and then activate sandy and take out the rest.

What's the mods or where to find them for the quicksilver sandevistan mod? I seen it on youtube and it looks pretty awesome. Normally I never mod games but this might be the one single time it's worth modding.
