You can run it, you’ll probably get around 60 frames on medium graphics, and around 50 to 45 on high. I’d reccomend watching this video on it.

These videos usually show that you’ll get more frames, but your ram size will make the laptop have more difficulty reserving space for processing a lot of the games’ assets.

Thanks ! Still not sure if it would not run better on Xbox series X...
i have a laptop with a similar setup, same gpu but with an i7 it will run fairly well at 1080p, but will run very hot

a mix of high and medium settings with dlss and no RT should put you well above 60 fps. you can enable RT if you're willing to go under 60 fps.

You can give it a try and refund before reaching 2 hours, if you are not satisfied.
I run this game on a laptop with slightly worse hardware and I'm satisfied.
Just barely and you'll need upscaling for ultra basically. Your graphics card won't be able to run raytracing on this game for the most part. 3050 is way too weak, put it this way a 3060/2070S/5700XT/1080ti level graphics card is going to get ~40ish fps on ultra settings at 1440p with no upscaling and raytracing off. So that's ultra sure, but at 1080p you'd need to drop settings on a 3060 just to get it to 60fps. Which is perfectly fine, frankly you don't need the eye candy to play this game because it's such a great story and world. It's just that with something as low performing as 3050, you're going to dip into just barely playable framerates imo at super high settings even without raytracing, and 1080p upscaling isn't going to look great, so add in raytracing and well you'll see, it'll be sputtering horrible performing and look worse if you try running RT and upscaling.

The basic game itself should work fine as long as you're willing to lower some settings.I literally played this game at 38-42fps ultra, just because I'd rather have the full visual fidelity and no upscale noise/blur/ghosting, but can tell it'd be impossible to play it with RT on my card, that's me though turning things down from ultra isn't going to kill ya and running under 60fps is fine too

It's hard to get this across well, basically the game can look really pretty to really terrible depending on the settings you use, and while I've seen someone get a R9 290 to run it even and it works on GTX 980 not problem, that's at significant sacrifices like turning down settings and using FSR. Naturally RT is out of the question on those cards. WIll it work? Yes. Just don't expect to have a playable and good looking raytrace experience if you were going for that.

Depends how low and how much DLSS. THe 2060 and 3050 basically can't really do raytracing. A 2080 struggles hard with this game, and upscaling looks bad on here. Far as I'm aware all versions of FSR and DLSS have the ghosting tail lights for example, and the rain and textures get so muddy.

That's a laptop GPU, nVidia needs to stop pulling shady moves, it used to be you'd call it "a GTX 970m" or "780m" m for mobile, because laptop GPU is nowhere near as performing as desktop due to thermal and power limitation. I can't remember if it's the 3050 or 3050ti but one of those laptop GPUs is basically on par with a GTX 980ti. Which is like a 1070/5600xt or Vega 56 or 1660 something like that.

Afaik the new Playstation and Xbone has a 6700 GPU in it with an 8core CPU, so yes it would. RX 6600XT is a much stronger graphics card than 3050, and 6700 is more powerful than 6600 so there you go. Downside, you can never upgrade your console. It'll be like that forever, locked out of PC gaming, being a computer etc. But yeah admittedly this gen consoles was really good value in terms of it's hard af to actually build a gaming computer that performs as well as them for the same amount of money.

I should add, not everybody minds upscaling. I am heavily biased against it and I turned it off for a reason, I thought FSR made it look noticeably worse and the performance uplift wasn't worth the visual sacrifice to me. Some people don't mind this and use it though.
