Most of the "nice" cars all handle like that.

Agree on the nomad mad max cars. For me the starter vehicles handled terribly but I found the faster the car the better it drove. Just like rl I guess

I dont like the driving physics in this game. It feels like when the rear loses traction it does so too suddenly. No linearity. Could definitely use improvents on next iterations.

it was kind of disappointing with some of the cooler cars that handle like crap but look like they would handle well on streets at least. the ones you earn(find through story and can call to you) are generally the best ones. i say even the middling are pretty bad as well only a few tops you can buy are good performance wise the 120k one is pretty good but a pretty long car though not the fastest but is up there and handles well despite it looking like it would not turn well.

Motorcycles are much better.

The cars feel like they are going much slower than they actually are, so people are trying to corner at 120 mph. Keep the speed down to 70 to 90 in the city and handling is much better.

Yeah this sorry to say sadly OP you DON'T want the hotrods. You DO want to just get a van or something, also my main ride is the Delemain cab you definitely do want to finish the Delemain side arc and finish that questline because he gets you car at the end of it that is the best handling car in the game.
The other thing too is I kept thinking about that one guy who told me they are realistic, idk about that but maybe it is too realistic because I can see some cars handling IRL the way I drive in videogames, ie. like a reckless ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ taking corners at 60mph at redlights and cutting people off in traffic, then fishtailing all over the road.

Anything if it looks super fast don't get it. YOu'll experiment and find what works best but all the cars handle poorly on PC and the fast cars are impossible to control. It somehow adds the feeling of both input lag AND overly sensitive controls at the same time on keyboard. It feels like they designed it entirely around using thumbsticks ona controller.

I also went back to GTA and admit in all fairness it also handles like crap in GTA, it just somehow feels less annoying and gives me more illusion of control.

THough in fairness me pa gave great advice: once you're over 60mph you're no longer steering, you're aiming

you'll get used to it eventually but trust me it used to be way worst, salute to the brave players that drove jackie's bike or the caliburn on launch day.
