Why you should walk more and drive less
With over 300 hours into this game, I am still enjoying it as much as I did the first time I played it. The first time, I was so focused on experiencing the main story that I drove everywhere and didn't do much of anything else. The second time I played it, I still drove everywhere but rushed constantly and did all of the side quests, gigs etc, basically all the stuff I missed the first time.
This time, I only drive if I need to leave town or go somewhere where there aren't sidewalks. I otherwise walk/run everywhere now and am finding all kinds of things I never saw the first 300 hours in. It is so much more immersive. I am loving it.

I only use one mod, the one that makes it so everyone is always the same level as me. This way, no areas of the game are off limits at the start for me.

Yes I found more little " easter eggs " ( fights , story shards, etc ) by walking/running around than by driving.

My first playthrough was 105 hours and I killed every point-of-interest off the entire map.

I'm on my second playthrough now. Gorilla arms for the win.

Nearing 1-Million eddies. I don't use any other vehicle (unless quest based) than jackie's motorcycle given to you by his mother. It's quick and agile and has your stash on the back.

I sell all whites and greens and break down all blues and above that i don't need.

Currently wearing (cosmetically) the full legendary corpo-suit.

20 INT 20 TECH 10 Bod 10 Cool 10 reflexes. Feels real good.

So very much agree. I walk everywhere, it's beautiful.

Walking is the way to play in Night City itself for sure.

I would recommend the mod "Missing Persons Fixer's Hidden gems", adds 200 odd fetch quests from Fixers that takes you all over Night city - great way to explore those nooks and crannies that Night City has to offer...

That sounds awesome! I was always disappointed with the small amount of quests involving the fixers so I will be glad to check that out.
