Issues with save/cloud

I have been experiencing an issue with the save/cloud save system.
Sometimes it takes many minutes for the game to "upload to cloud" save games after I close the game.
Also ingame, sometimes it doesn't save any of my progress. Can literally lose hours. It's just not saving. Sometimes the Circular save icon flashes on my screen as well, and when I bring up both save and or load screens, none appear.

This is kind of a bad things :S Anyone know whats up?

All of the issues you described, I've experienced... I'm been aggressively quick-saving as much as possible.

To note, sometimes when the save icon bugs, and its an auto-save during a quest with an NPC escort, the game WAITS for the save-icon to disappear before continuing the rest of the quest/escort which can hang for 45 seconds or so...

I think its just the 1.62 patch...

thanks for your response. what i did was delete OLD OLD files, things i'd never go back to. and i went to 3-4 total save game files, and it smoothed out.

Disable Cross-platform Saves feature found under Gameplay settings, as it is known to cause such issues.

I find it's as Crimsomrider says, the cross platform saves slow the saving and loading down a huge amount.

Also found running the vortex launcher for mods makes my cloud syncs error. Launching to main menu and then exiting the game with vortex closed will fix it.
