XeSS is ACTUALLY superior to FSR
I've tested XeSS 1.1 on my OG GTX 1060 3GB out of curiosity and it turned out to be surprisingly more clear than FSR 2.1.Here's what I observed:
-XeSS has no ghosting(grainy "tails" on moving objects & noisy reflections)
-XeSS looks extremely similar to native 1080p even on "quality" (second option after ultra quality).Static image is about as sharp as native 1080p even without the sharpening filter
-XeSS gives slightly lower fps boost comapred to FSR(about 3 frames less on my 1063),but overall image quality is WAY higher
-XeSS in fact looks pretty much the same as DLSS judging by screenshots(I don't have an RTX card)

IMO XeSS HAS to be integrated into a wider variety of games since it works on any GPU.It would be fantastic to have this upscaling tech in crappy ports like TLOU or Jedi survivor as well

same conclusion i came to, fsr implementation in this game is too shakey and aliasing is bad even on quality. i'd honestly use xess performance over fsr quality if i didn't have an rtx card.

dlss > xess > fsr

It a deep learning upscaler, same as DLSS.

It's Intel's version of DLSS & FSR.

-snip-

I was wrong, had my settings wired wrong. See no difference between the two. DLSS is still better of course.

Yep agreed. The ghosting for me is the biggest reason I don't use FSR.
