30 fps with motion blur and nvidia reflex feels surprisingly responsive
All the time I've spent playing this game was with those settings and even as someone very sensitive to framerate and frametimes it still feels on par with 35-40 fps without any trickery. Just wanted to share my experience :evelyn2077:

Motion blur helps with fluidity. Looks far smoother than flat 30

Motion blur effectively simulates the intermediate stages of an object in motion. It's why films in cinemas don't, usually, look stuttery even though the frame rate is fairly low.

I prefer 30 no motion blur than 60 + motion blur for sure
Vsync greatly affect input delay so it's a big NOPE for me. I've been gaming most of my life and I'm very sensitive even to slight changes in input delay and in most games vsync makes me feel as if my mouse is placed in a soup bowl

fps limit+ vsync is not the same latency as vsync only. And you remove screen tearing.
The added latency is still there

Mate 30 fps already doesn't feel that great and at a 30 fps cap tearing is quite rare anyway and is even harder to notice thanks to motion blur

NVIDIA Reflex made input lag worse on my system.
Best feeling of mouse I had was without VSYNC. But tearing is so terrible i cannot play with tearing. So i always use VSYNC.

After playing around a lot i found that turning on VSYNC (60 Hz) and capping the framerate in RTSS (Riva-Tuner Statistics Server) also to 60 fps removed any input lag. It feels like turning off VSYNC.

But i also have to admit that Cyberpunk 2077 is the first and only game so far where i notice a huge input lag with VSYNC turned ON and running at 60fps.

It wasn't huge for me since the game already doesn't feel super responsive thanks to 30 fps but it's definitely worse than without vsync

I played this game for a while on my old computer and got decent frame rates, but I had other problems with the game and quit before I got very far.

Now I restarted from the beginning on my new computer and I get a pretty consistent 120 frames per second.
I have an I9 processor and a Ge-force 3080 video card, 64 gigs of fast ram, and the computer is all solid state.

Everything is pretty much set to max, but I always turn off Anti-Alysaing, it's not really necessary at 4K and gives a huge boost in frame rates.

I'm somewhat surprised because I have comparable games that don't do nearly as well.

So I could test out Path Tracing on my RTX 3080, I put the game to 1440P performance mode and set the frame rate to 40. It works really well on my G-Sync display.

I prefer playing at 60 with RT reflections and medium lighting though.
