Killing Woodman after peaceful negotiation.

I was playing the mission "Automatic Love" and managed to negotiate peacefully with Woodman. I provided him with information on how to protect against hacks, and in return, he gave me details about Evelyn. My initial plan was to kill him afterward, but the game automatically holsters your weapon. After Woodman instructed me to leave via the elevator, I went back through the gate to the right upon exiting his office. I then killed him through the closed door. I tried to find information on whether the game considers him dead or not, but I couldn't find any. To avoid any potential issues later on, I reloaded my save and simply killed him. However, I wonder if anyone has continued the game and found out what happens in this scenario?

Well, I'm not going to give spoilers but you can get another chance to kill him later.
You're given more reason to. Probably better for the story if you hold off on that till then.
But theres nothing to stop you from doing it, only difference is you won't get a scene where you confront him and two dialogue options will be slightly different.
