Flickering/blinking lights fix (Konpeki Plaza)

I was doing the Konpeki mission when I ran into a weird visual glitch in the game where the lights kept flickering/blinking and going red and it was like the game was deliberately trying to give me a migraine as punishment for being dumb enough to buy their broken game.

Google wasn't very helpful in troubleshooting this as only a small handful of people seemed to have experienced this bug, and their solutions did not work for me. However, what did work for me was turning off the HDR preset in settings to "None" (I play with HDR + Auto HDR enabled on Windows 11). This got rid of the flickering completely.

So, if none of the other fixes work for you, try this.

Had similar problem, but HDR was never enabled. Changing "Color Precision" from Medium to High in game settings solved this issue for me.

With HDR enabled, I went to the HDR settings by pressing z from the video menu, then changed my max brightness from 400 to 600 and that fixed it for me.

Color precision worked for me. As with first commentor, HDR preset was not enabled

Still having this issue in Phantom Liberty. Shutting down the game and reopen/reload the save worked for me. EDIT: Well it did solve it for about 10 mins then it came back again :(

I encountered the same problem when starting at Konpeki Plaza after picking up the Biochip box. While in Scan mode, everything was fine, but outside of it, the screen flickered. I tried restarting both the game and my PC, and followed advice from others, but nothing worked.

Finally, I found that turning Multiframes ON solved the issue.
