Still crashing on clean install

As evryone else has noted, I could not play after the update with my mods installed.

However, I completely reinstalled the game and without any mods and the game still crashes shortly after clicking play on the REDlauncher.

Other than trying to uninstall and reinstall again, any suggestions?

Some folders need removing, uninstalling doesn't remove them.

Just to clarify, by clean install did you just use Steam to uninstall and then reinstall the game or have you manually removed the game's folders from 5 different locations, as noted here;

• Cyberpunk 2077 folder from here: ...\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077
  
• Cyberpunk 2077 folder from here: %userprofile%\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\
  
• REDEngine folder from here: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\
  
• CD Projekt Red folder from here: %userprofile%\AppData\Local
  
• CD Projekt RED folder from here: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Programs

If you've done this manually, then you could try updating drivers or launching the game directly from its exe to see if it works.

I just deleted everything apart from

..\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\archive

Which contains the main content, validated which redownloaded everything else, make sure Mods is disabled on the launcher, and it started fine, before that it crashed after the logos

I have tried this, I restarted after the above before installing again. (Followed these instructions... https://support.cdprojektred.com/en/cyberpunk/pc/sp-technical/issue/2233/how-do-i-clean-install-my-game)

I did not install any mods

Still just get a black screen for a few seconds and then it crashes. :(

What worked for me was finding red pre launcher in the game files (\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\REDprelauncher.exe) and setting it to run as admin. It might also help to run steam as admin too.

uninstall LET THERE BE FLIGHT, works for me :D, or check de RED4ext log to see which other mods you need to check it out :D
