DLSS3 & NVIDIA REFLEX
Have a 4090, enabled HAGS in windows settings, re installed graphics drivers. But still not able to enable DLSS3 or Nvidia Reflex in game, the options are greyed out. Anyone run into this and have a fix?

Are you sure that you are using the latest driver and latest windows updates?
Also that some times you might need to toggle options in geforce control panel to allow DLSS to work, some options like overrided 3D settings would disable them.

If you have turned the "DLSS frame generation " on, the Reflex option is grayed and this is normal. But you shoud be able to modifiy the Frame Genration option.....

You have to turn on the graphics in "Windows", windows has a graphics panel now that contains the particular settings that have to be enabled.

No idea why it is the case but I found it using the internet search engine.
No I dont remember exactly which settings.

Just that there is a windows graphics panel.

After that the settings should no longer be grayed out in Cyberpunk options.

Already turned on HGS

also, the game crashes every single time after i hit play, I have to play the game from launching the actual .exe of the game lol. And when I do that I can use dlss3.

My DLSS3 is working, but my nvidia reflex is greyed out. Have you tried setting every setting back to default?

If you turn *Frame Generation - Off*
Is Reflex still greyed out then?

I have no DLSS or Reflex problems with my RTX 40 Series.

My reflex section is greyed out as well, (4070TI) but it seems to be set to ON

If you turn Framegen on it will automatically rurn reflex on in settings that's why it's grayed out.. Also make sure to have vsync forced in NVCP.

Turning on FG automatically turns on reflex and greys it out(making it unable to be turned off)

Yes, this is normal, working as intended.

Having reflex on with Ray Reconstruction and frame gen with DLSS significantly reduces FPS since a few patches ago, by reducing GPU utilization. Using workarounds to force-disable Reflex provides a ~20% performance uplift, as does disabling RR. Reddit indicates it's been the case for a couple of months now when using Ray Reconstruction with Reflex inflicts a significant performance hit and remains unfixed.

It would be great if CDP at least provided a workaround by allowing users to disable Reflex, as currently it slightly reduces latency by substantially reducing performance, which isn't a trade-off many users would likely go for if given a choice.

I mention "slightly" reduces latency, because the baseline is a lower fps. At a higher FPS with no Reflex, the input latency is organically reduced. So while in the end without Reflex the latency may not be exactly as good, you also get a smoother gameplay without leaving a good chunk of GPU performance unutilized.
