Meredith stout romance options are complicated and corrupt

i tried everything but romance does not work . no guide explains it properly.
why do your have to make it so complicated ? all guides described are insufficient . i can't get any messages. they always cut and upload the "quest videos" . very complex tasks can become tedious for the player.

Meet with her, refuse her money. Pull your gun on Royce and kill him.
Or take her money and use it to pay for the bot, without removing the virus.
Those are two ways that should work.

i'm fairly sure i accepted the credit shard and copied the spider from it, but left it intact so Royce and his little gang got hacked into oblivion then shot the place up. As long she's the one who is meeting you at the end of the mission you're eligible for her "company" and the unique katana she offers you later when she texts you. Also she bends both ways, so it does not even matter if you're femV or maleV.

Yes, copying is fine. I did that with my second character, and Stout snowed up at the end of The Pickup.

I don't know how many days it takes for her message, but it didn't feel like that many. If it was her corporate rival at the end of The Pickup, there will be no message.

Aaand she will end up in the bottom of the ocean with a shaved head. I once found her there when i took a quick swim.

Here's what I personally do and can guarantee works without an issue;

• Called Meredith, met with her and decided to collaborate together
  
• Hacked the chip after the meeting by both copying the money and removing the malware since I wasn't planning on giving it to Royce either way
  
• Went to meet with Royce and shot him in the head during the stand-off
  
• Found out who the mole was by breaching the terminal in the 2nd major room after leaving Royce's room
  
• Released Brick
  
• Got out and was met with Meredith who later texted me to meet her one last time

So in short,Meredith appears if:

• V either pays with the chip still containing the malware
  
• Executes Royce with the gun during the stand-off

Gilchrist will appear if;

• V either pays with their own money
  
• Removes the malware from the chip and gives it to Royce
  
• Knocks out Royce with the strength check

I'm pretty sure you need to finish the heist first as well before she will call you back.

All I do is make sure I shoot Royce in the head and I get her every time. Every time I don't I get the guy.

Some options give you Royce as a cyberpsycho in the last room.

Take her credit chip and hack it right away, or save it for later when your INT is stronger. You'll get a useful quickhack and E$10,000 if you do. Don't pay, just shoot Royce and fight your way out of All foods...it's actually the easiest fight there. If you are a Nomad, look for the computer with the mole's name on the email and tell Meredith and get a special reward. You'll get a call from her sometime fairly early on in Act 2. Releasing Brick is purely optional.

Oh, definitely. At the end of The Pickup V gets told to meet the others at The Afterlife for The Heist, so there is no reason for the developers to have Meredith Stout do her booty call between those two missions. She'd be busy with work during that time.
