Seems expensive for a dlc, how big is Phantom Liberty?

Its half the price of the full title in Australian dollars. Do we have any idea on content? like 15 hours worth of new stuff maybe? any ideas?

the new trailer says PL is getting "dozens of new quests" but it doesnt say how many we also dont know how big the new area will be

Because it's not a DLC, it's an expansion. And yes, based on the information we have now it's safe to assume there should be at least 10-15 hours of new story missions just in dogtown, also they added new gigs and side missions and endless dynamic missions and events.

Im a Cyberpunk fan so Im biased, but, I am really really really looking forward to this. I saw a interview where the devs said something like, "This is how we intended to release the game"... I cant wait!

I have purchased the expansion immediately. I may also be biased because I love Cyberpunk. But for $50 (New Zealand currency) was pretty much nothing. Wish it released sooner so I can start another fresh playthrough with a new V

The update and the DLC will bring this game to the position it always deserve

DLC = Downlaodable Content = Can even be Expansion, or back in the day called "Expension Pack".

Pretty much every expension nowadays is dlc, or are you telling me there is a cd version of Version 1.0 sorry meant "Phantom Liberty".

Too bad every single official source calls it an expansion wherever you see it, Paweł Sasko one of the Game designers and Quest director corrects everyone in every single stream he has that it's not a DLC but an Expansion, so you better correct yourself instead of trying to educate others.

And by the way yes, there is a "cd" (obviously dvd) version of the 1.0 version of the game which was released in 2020, so calling phantom liberty an expansion is perfectly reasonable and correct.
DLCs are the 18 small and free downloadable content you got during the years, this is a paid expansion which adds a new region with new missions, new characters and new ending to the game.

Nowadays this is the correct terminology, so get used to it. If you prefer, every expansion is a dlc, but not every dlc is an expansion.

It’s not a DLC - it’s a full expansion to original game. You know the ones we used to get 20 years ago? Yeah that one.

Phantom Liberty was never suppose to be apart to the base game and Patch 2.0 is free so.......

Yeah...I was saying they getting what they want. A free upgrade.

CDPR needs to do a better job explaining what is free and what is paid for. They are lumping things together to muddy the waters alittle bit.

You're only hyping yourself up for disappointment. I'm looking forward to the expansion and think it will be very good, but Blood&Wine...? that's like top 3 all time expansions. Can't expect that.

But, Phantom Liberty was never inteded to be PART of the base game. Every single Witcher game afaik has expansions which adds new missions, locations, characters to the base game, and were never inteded to be in it from the start. Phantom Liberty is no different.

True, but we're not at the release date yet, they will have at least another live stream about the expansion and 2.0, also i think Paweł said that when they get close to the release dates, they will release an extensive list of all the changes and new features beforehand, so it's not like people won't be able to see the difference between the two releases. Until then it's just marketing and a teaser and for hyping up people.
