I can reliably crash the game by going into fast-travel station and backing out. Background noise stays, but screen is locked.
I tried updating nvidia drivers, reinstalling the game, rebooting, etc...
It seems to happen *slightly* less on "low" graphics, but it still happens after a very short while.
It used to run so well before, but now it is unplayable :-(
How long was it since you played last?
I’ll try that.
It had been several months at least, maybe more.
There was a major upgrade in June, and it might be conflicting with the remnants of the mods you removed. Mods have a way of secreting files in unexpected places. and aren't easy to clear out completely.
let us know if the driver reinstall helps.
Any idea why?
Like what?

I am no ripperdoc, so I don't chrome my PC myself.
Not sure I give the details you expect but above is what I get from msinfo32.
Not a single word about when the game is crashing, what actually happens, what do you see exactly, nor any word about mods or overclocking or drivers...
