should i buy cyberpunk?

i'm thinking about buying cyberpunk 2077 but i saw they were coming out with a big update that will change the skill and other stuff should i wait until the update comes out to buy the game?

don't wait, buy it now with the expansion too, only I recommend to start a new game once the DLC is released, so you don't miss any new added detail

The introduction is good enough to replay multiple times and you'll notice new details, etc. And you will get to know the characters and story more. The intro is very dense. So I don't think it's a big deal to replay it.

Messing with builds or getting new items and stuff will be kind of pointless, but you can learn the controls, guns, etc.

Buy the base game once its on sale, it goes on sale very frequently. Completely worth it, after all of the fixes, it has turned into one of the best RPGs.

Buy something else and buy this game when it will be on sale.

Do not give money to a game that was released 3 years ago and still broken.

It's a no duh purchase IMO. There's some major balance changes coming with the new DLC (which will be free for all players) but I wouldn't feel the need to wait. It's currently 50% off on GOG if you don't want to buy specifically on Steam.

It is most definitely worth buying. It's a very cool game that will draw you in. You can buy it when ever you like but I wouldn't start a new game until the update drops, that's what we are all waiting for.
You could start now though, just to get a little practise an understanding of how things work before you start properly.

The game is frequently on discount. Wait for the 50% sale or until patch 2.0 drops.

Yes, of course. Its a phantastic game.

Should you start to play it now?
Uh, no. The dlc will come out end of the month (26th), so in two weeks. And a huge update will come before that (no date given).
And I'm pretty sure within a week after the update will come a hotfix to patch some crazy issues on some obscure hardware combinations, and they'll want to do that before the dlc drops. (eg. after the 1.5 patch there was a big problem for users of certain sound drivers 'nahemic' )

Meaning the patch will come in about week. Just wait till then (and maybe aformentioned extra week for the hotfix, depending on how standarized your hardware is). I started a playtrough both directly after release and directly after 1.50 dropped and it ran perfectly fine for me.

Should you buy it now? Depends your financial situation. If you buy now you get a free ingame car. (If you buy the dlc that is). But if you cant afford it then you shouldn't.

Buy it now. Depending on budget, dont wait for a sale. They worked hard to fix the game. Cyberpunk as it is right now is worth every penny. You can buy it now. But i am waiting for 2.0 to hit so i can do a final "real" last playthru with the 2.0 system.
I dotn know how you are, but if you are like me, you will want to wait for 2.0 to make your first playthrtu. So you will have a better first expereince. Not that its acutally not a good one, but why learn a game that will be completely chagned in 1 or 2 weeks?
