For 2.0 and Phantom Liberty: Please! Fresh install and save.

No, this is not Official CDPR Instructions. This is, however, a serious suggestion from someone who sees a lot of issues every patch. These are going to be -big- patches. So.

A) 2.0 and Phantom Liberty will nearly certainly break your mods, certainly any complex ones. Most will be updated quickly but until they are, run a clean, unmodded game if you want to reduce issues.

B) A lot of said issues are going to be pre-resolved with a completely fresh install (if you have the bandwidth) and new game, new save, the lot.

2.0 changes many, many things. A fresh, clean install and, preferably, a wonderful new clean save is a great way to see them all from the very beginning. And reduce your launch day stress.

Fresh install, no saves. As soon as I click on the menu I get the controller input bug. How about an option to disable controllers while y'all figure this out?

Tried all the suggestions, fresh install (deleted all the old config folders and so on after uninstalling the game), started a new game, validation, game and PC restart and so on .. have the game on a SSDrive, my system is more than capable of running the game after 2.0, never ran the game with mods, etc .. but ..

I have the game crash shortly after the main dev Logo and then the mini logos screens appear.

Nothing works.

2.0 update broke the game.

if you have win11: browse game files -> run REDprelauncher.exe as an administrator (just run it, don't set it in properities)

The game crashes on startup when I have Avira antivirus real-time protection enabled. When I disable it, the game starts fine.

Is the file actually named REDprelauncher? I searched my hard drive and did not find it. But I installed it via GOG, so is that advice specific to Steam versions?

yes, redprelauncher includes only in steam version of the game and it will launch gog firstly to enable additional gog content in game, but if it won't work, just launch game in bin\x64 -> cyberpunk2077.exe

no mater clean saves or not, 1.63 saves are convertible to 2.0, even cyberpunk 2077 (v 2.0) converting itself when loading 1.63 save

cars stopping in the middle of the road for no reason. I don't know if you guys have this problem, but oftentimes I see a car just stopped right in the middle of the road for no reason, and there's around 3-4 cars behind that. Is this a bug or is there a reason why residents of NC just stops in the middle of the road for no reason?
