Otherwise, just back up your save files manually... it's not hard. And store that on a drive, or on a cloud service.
There are also tools to help such as GameSaveManager (or something) that you can find more information on that will automatically detect, at least, most of your game saves (but not all, depending).
Your saves are always upload to the Steam Cloud as long as its active, while your local save files can be found by navigating to C:\Users\*Your Windows Username*\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\.
I was looking through the steam settings and found out that you can just move files from one spot to another. New feature for me unlocked. Just saved all my games with this one easy trick ;) .
