https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-ryzen-7-7800x3d-cpu-review
If it were this then it would be nonsense to have it next to an i7-12700 since the 7800X3D would arguably perform better than an i7-13700 even ...
I think they could have meant 5800X but it's hard to tell. It seems very illogical and a poor effort.
Edit: Fixed typo I made on the CPU model myself
Ah, with you now. Yeah, you're quite correct. I assumed that they were just leaving off the 3d .
Then they should have said 7800x3D and not simply 7800x.
What confuses me is how they recommend a rtx 3080 or 7900 xtx for 4k ultra when a 7900xtx is much more powerful.
zebedees is the kind of person when asked about rig's cpu.. '..uh its an i7'
They are recommending "this is the minimum to get this result", not "this is the best of the best to get this result".
That doesn't explain how a 7900 xtx is needed to match the performance of a rtx 3080 when it should be way faster. If they said 6800 xt then I could understand.
I'm more the kind of person who assumes that something like a Ryzen 37 is a typo and doesn't really sweat it. :)
No, but "Optimized for nVidia" is likely what explains that..
RECOMMENDED:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: 64-bit Windows 10
Processor: Core i7-12700 or Ryzen 7 7800X3D
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER or Radeon RX 5700 XT or Arc A770
DirectX: Version 12
Storage: 70 GB available space
Additional Notes: Storage: 70 GB SSD
So it does look like it was all just a typo for the 7800X3D as I suggested.
That's a rather wild discrepancy between the Intel CPU and AMD but looking forward to seeing some test results and comparisons online.
looking at the specs on the expansion does a intel core i5 9600KF 3.70GHz work or do i REALY NEED a new CPU?
cuss im kinda scared that i wont be able to play ither the base game or the expansion at this point after the expansion hits
You'll probably (with a high likelyhood) still be able to play it, but if you're worried and want peace of mind, stop updates of cyberpunk, and ask again once the 1.7 patch is released. People will know for sure then.
