There's no official confirmation I've seen. But there's been a few little hints some of the voice actors from the main game (not just the Vs and Johnny) were still in touch with CDPR's devs which got me curious enough to think it's not totally impossible they were doing more work.

Expansion takes place before the ending, it's like the major arcs off the main story but in its own area and adds its own potential ending.

Since Phantom Liberty takes place before the actual endings then who knows, could happen. That'll of course, depend on the timeline of Phantom Liberty.

If they are not in the game I might skip buying this honestly, as much as I love Cyberpunk.
