There is nothing inherent to the 3070 that would cause issues with stability or lag. But that is also not nearly enough information to say you can run the game without stability issues or lag.
I have a 3070 and the game runs fine.

I use a Radeon 6660xt which is the equivalent of a 3060 ti (some would argue its even less) and cyberpunk runs fantastic for me. But you should also provide your processor and ram for us to know. Personally I have a ryzen 7 and 64 gigs of ram, and that coupled with the good graphics card is what makes my performance smooth at a solid 80fps on 1080 and 60-65 on 1440.

Agree with other replies. Would only add that installing to an SSD is recommended even at min specs as that has a big impact on how the game plays.

i have a RX5600xt and run at !05fps pretty consitently

yeah honestly your hard drive speed and quality will have a much bigger effect on performance in this game than your video card. I'm on a 2070super for example and play everything maxed out on high/ultra on 2560x1440p except ray tracing turned off and I get a solid 80+ fps every where with no stutter butter smooth but the kicker is I have an Samsung 970evo pro nvme harddrive. The tpose bug complaints and quite a few other bug complaints are all from others with slow hard drives or corrupted data files because things simply aren't loading as fast as they need to be displayed smoothly without issue.

Hell yes it runs butter smooth on my RTX 3070 at max settings

stay away from ray tracing and heavy visual modding and you'll be fine

this. ultrawide, max settings, balanced raytracing. game runs smooth no issues.
hard to say how much more demanding the expansion will be but it'll more than likely still be more than fine :)

For everyone here commenting...

You guys know the system requirements are about to go up with patch 1.7 and Phantom Liberty right...? ...So its about to get alot more taxing on systems unfortunately...

Yea. Even RTX 4090 cannot sustain over 100fps at 4k ultra settings + tray racing. With out special settings on. Speaking from experience. Of course depends where you drive or move. But its not stablest thing. When using those unique settings to get that max performance there was lot of stability issues.

Gotta see how it runs after patch.

i deleted last post because i mistook settings. But in general. If you want ultra 4k ray tracing. With rtx 4090 with DLSS you can get nice fps like 60-140-160 fps.

With overdrive Ray tracing 83-103-124fps on 4k. But you clearly start seeing those annoying issues like glimmer everywhere like on guns on table etc. It can be distracting from experience. Perhaps these can be more of settings issues but just saying. Not seeing those on normal settings with out these buffs.

Like no DLSS ultra will make RTX 4090 look like console fps. 1.86-41.64-81.94 fps at 4k reminder with ultra settings.

Just saying if your wanting perfomance from this game you need to have DLSS on accept those glimmers and potential crashes. whole flickering issues at times. Like i had lot of those on previous patch. At ultra that is. I had previously Rtx 3080 and now its on my second pc.

Also alot of those fps will come down to what cpu you have, this seems to be the main thing thats increased in terms of the specs...
Chaos Jun 26, 2023 @ 3:55am
Yeah, next time you gonna ask this kind of thing, pls also give use your ram and cpu spec too.
Quietman Jun 26, 2023 @ 5:15am
I think CPU performance will change the most in the next update. I have a Ryzen 3700X and a 3070TI and honestly believe the CPU is causing fluctuations in FPS more than the GPU.
It's a constant 60FPS without RTX on but down in the 50s and 40s with that enabled at 2560x1440.
