Sets might contain just one gig, or more. It depends.
TLDR completing gigs for one Fixer and you unlock more GiGs for that fixer. You never unlock all at once.
So yup, your info is outdated.
Probably. The game has changed a lot since its first release...there's lots of actual obsolete information being left out there.
They changed things up with the patches. you can look at the wiki for Regina Jones: https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Regina_Jones
You start with 5 of her gigs, after those is completed you get another 3, then another 3 etc etc.
Your guide is likely a tad bit outdated when it comes to fixer gigs.
There's also entirely new GiGs added that the guide probably wont mention, added by patches. ;)
I collect the tabletop, so the top down maps are so useful. Currently, the tabletop is stuck in 2045, so the map is a little outdated, compared to 2077. (tho, there is a catch up supplement on the way, centred around the edgerunners data, that will bring the tabletop up to the year 2076)
Wonder if they will reprint the guide with updated info and maps when the expansion hits....
guess i'm lucky then lol. i see the book as more of a tabletop resource (because of the detailed maps)
while it does come with a code for a digital map, i'm not sure how long that will last (not that the code will expire, that the service would) so a physical copy of the map i can use is perfect.
(plus, it had come down to £7.99 and it is hardback so, win-win ^^)
