Slverhand is a grey character, as most people in cyberpunk settings. He might do bad things for good reasons. Also, his memories of that day aren't a lie, they are a subjective perspective (the way he lived them through plus the way he decided to remember them).
Silverhand is a rockerboy, Spider is a netrunner. Blackhand is the only solo of that list of yours. Militech played its hand, Silverhand wanted a go at Arasaka. It was only natural the two of them would meet... but, of course, as a corp, MTI wouldn' want all the bad PR for nuking a small part of Night City, so they went the deniable plausibility route.
Alt died in 2013, during the Arasaka Incident. Johnny died after the bombing run in 2023, forcing Arasaka to spend lots of money in PR to make him appear as a terrorist, the bad guy, rather than being unveiled before other corps as the one trying to create a mobile assassin software able to suck the experiences and knowledge of its victims. And the old Net was crashed the hard way, so Arasaka might have Soulkiller, but it's limited to the victims Arasaka feeds it with rather than being a "wandering monster" as Arasaka intended it to be.
Arasaka still had to use the static version of Soulkiller to steal corporate secrets which helped it rise to the status it holds in 2077, because by 2023, Arasaka was a second rate corporation, which couldn't hold a candle to the real corporate beasts back then, like EBM.
You are the one missing the point. Silverhand was doing what he wanted, Militech only took its chances to play foul on Arasaka and took advantage of Silverhand's actions to deflect the heat on them.
it aint that deep bro
Mushroom cloud in the distance for instance?
I see Cyberpunk is very active on steamdb, but are they going to release a patch before phantom liberty? Something like a pre-req build?
Glad I started playing when I did. This way it all stays fresh in my head.
