Do you get the starting car back?

I've gotten to the part where the rogue Del car hit and runs you, and get locked out of the car. Game just says to wait while it's repaired, and it's getting kinda annoying having to use fast travel and running to get places. So the question is this, do I get the car back at some point or do I just have to buy a new one?

Yup you get it back, but unfortunately in order to get it back you have to complete the entire Delamain questline.

The quest itself isn't very well thought out in terms of chronological events.

Actually you should get a call and get it back when Delamain has fixed it.

There are other cars you can buy ingame, look on the floor above yours in the parking garage.

Who cares about that car. You should have given Jackie's body to his family and did his Ofrenda. You get one of the best motorcycles in the game for free super early. The quest is called Heroes.

Every single playthrough I leave Takamura waiting in the Diner so I can get to the El Coyote bar as fast as possible.

I got it back without doing the Delamain quest. Not sure how many in game days it took since theres no calander, but I think it was around 24 real hours.

Actually you can get a better bike by using the code 0214 on a door.

I duno..... The Bug Bike (what I call it) isn't as happy to see me as Jackie's bike.
It vibrates like a puppy at the mention of 'walkies' every time I open that garage (lol)
And loves to do pirouettes and flips when I call it.

I have a habit of leaving Bug at Kerry's place for him (in character, I mean lol. I leave the Kusenagi for Rogue in the alleyway at the Afterlife, too lmao)

You _will_ get the Hella back if you just wait. You don't have to complete the Delamain quest line at all. After a while, you'll get a text telling you. You will get a whack of free cars and at least one motorcycle during the game. Put some money together and you can buy one as well. If you sent Jackie's body back to his family, or just left it in the car, complete the Heroes side job and you will get Jackie's bike.

I got his bike and I sent his body to vik....glitch? I got a text, dont remember from who but they left his bike keys at my door and it was in the garage later. Didnt do any side job either.

no matter what you do, you will get that bike. if you don't do the quest 'Hero's' the bike's key will be sent to you by Mama Wells.
its just better for many players, if we do that quest.
