Stadium Love - impossible?

Is the Stadium Love shooting contest impossible now? I see in old guides and such that you have to hit all 44 targets to win the contest, and old screen shots show a '0/44' score counter on the objectives - but entering the quest now, it says I have to get 46 points, and the objective shows 0/46; but there are still only 44 targets.

Am I missing something? Will getting 44 targets still win?

That's Wilson's shooting range competition. I find stadium love is best done by killing all the 6th Streeters and just taking the gun they offer. Yeah I found it impossible to do normally.

Based on what group we're talking about i can't support this decision enough, although i believe it's possible to win it since i remember getting the gun and that other guy being angry about it coming there, drinking their ♥♥♥♥ and even taking first place ahead of him.
I don't think you have to get max points to win, you just have to beat his record which i don't remember from the top of my head.

There are 46 targets actually. Ages ago the quest tracked only the required 44 targets despite there physically being two extra, because that was needed to beat Walker's high score and win the contest... but this was eventually updated to track all 46 targets for perfectionist satisfaction purposes while the win condition still remains 44.

Personally I had no issue completing the contest the proper way and shooting 46/46, plus the extra 20 live targets after giving them the middle finger :D

Just did this two or three days ago. It's very much doable, indeed laughably easy if you've got a sandivestan equipped. Pop it, plug away, max score.

There's one target thats not that easy to see that can easily cause you to miss getting all of them, its a challenge but not insurmountable, make sure to aim down the sights though, iit does make a difference,

This quest is entirely do-able ...you just have to beat Walker's score which is 42 [IIRC].

It's helpful to have the fast pistol reload Perk, or wear an ammo vest that has a +% reload speed. Also, always remember to reload your revolver _between_ stages...if you start a stage with a partially empty revolver, the second reload within the stage will usually kill your time. Then just stay cool and use your sights. Same as a real shooting competition, really.

A low cooldown sandevistan can give you extra time to aim, just start moving on after you fire on each, don't wait for the confirmed hit.

It's doable, I was able to do it after 2-3 retries on my first playthrough, and achieve it on my first try during my second playthrough.

I did it, I think I may have reloaded a time or two but can't remember. The character was a pistol user though so maybe had an advantage there.

EDIT: If you are referring to the 6th Street party, that's what I was talking about. I can't remember what it was called now.

The power pistol they give you keeps ricocheting and hitting one so after the 5th try i just said f it and killed them all

I knocked down all targets but it only said I'd hit 42. I still won and got the gun though. The old champ was none too happy but he was told to pull his head in.

Yep, did it yesterday. No sandevistan, finished each stand before time was up. Just got to have your eye in and not stuff around.

ive done it in 2 throughways since PL came out.
you have plenty of time to clear all the targets on each one. jsut dont miss :)
