Not saying it's perfect but, given how big it is, and how much stuff is going on in the world, I'd honestly say it compares pretty favourably with most games I've played the last five or ten years. Overall it runs very smooth and is a pretty polished experience.
I know the game had a bad launch a ways back; I can't help but wonder if you've been bitten by that and you're maybe looking for problems where there aren't any? I kind of get it, but maybe try and set the history aside.
The early cars though, yeah, they handle badly. The later - more expensive ones - are much much better. If you do decide to continue, I'd honest recommend using bikes until you get those - the free one you get is excellent - or maybe just stick to them...
my old rig was barely the minimum....my new rig is i7 13700 3.4 ghz , 32mb ddr5 5200 ram ,
rtx 4090 ,2tb kc3000 pcie 4.0 nvme m2 SSD ,
wd 4tb black 7200 rpm hdd.
I don't see those things you mention on my new rig.
It's either a 1) buggy mess, 2) never seen a bug in my play through, or 3) one or two bugs but nothing groundbreaking.
It probably just comes down to no definitive answer, and everyone's experience is different.
I can give you one bug for free. You will get this one because we all have this one. :D
Go to the Northside, Watson. There is a bridge up north, at the edge of the city. The bridge in question connects oil fields to Night City. You can't miss it, because it's the only bridge that does that. :D Check the very last traffic lights post, standing just at the beginning of the bridge. It's of noticeably lower polygon count than any other traffic lights post in the entire game. Very easy to spot on your current hi-end PC, very easy to find with your expert knowledge of the game map, after those 400 plus hours you played the game.
Tell you what.....i will not even go there to see your bug.....I will say it is there to humour you.
So......there is a bug there....oh no....the game is so bad that is has a bug/issue. If this bug throws you off the game....good for you. But that is a you thing...your patience for a bug is low. I am not thrown off by bugs like that......I can still enjoy the game. That is a me thing.
Other people can decide if those kinda things will bother them or not as it is a single player game. So put together a video showing your rig specs, what settings you are running at , and the bugs/issues you find. Post a link on YT so other gamers can see for themselves and decide if those issues you spotlight are going to bother them. Nuff said.
Admitting that the bugs are there is beneficial for both developers and gamers alike. The developer gains trust and respect for acknowledging the bugs and fixing them in a timely manner. Gamers get the game up to high standard so they will praise the game and the developer. Positive word of mouth spreads around, making it to press, which further increases positive sentiment towards the game.
In addition to that, falsly advertising the game to be bugs-free makes people who hate bugs buy the game, play it, be disappointed and complain online. It's bad for the company and its bad for gamers.
Cyberpunk 2077 has bugs, yes. Many less than before, but still bugs. No one was promised a bug-free experience nor should one be expected from any really ambitious piece of software.
This should probably be in Technical, but nothing new or constructive is really being said here. Thread locked.
