Shock for robots, cyberware malfunction for the tough guys, ping for luring, sonic shock for aiding stealth, suicide/cyberpsychosis for dealing with the missions where you gotta kill that one target in enemy territory, weapon jam for groups. Can't remember what else I'd have...

Ripperdoc Nina in Westbrook has the best deck I think. The Tetratonic Rippler Mk.4 Legendary. The best thing about Ultimate Hacks is that they spread once. Applies to cyberspychosis, grenade firing, etc.

The rippler is only that good if you use ultimate hacks. If you don't the Netwatch one is pretty good too.

The legendary Netwatch one is probably the best. It may not make your ultimates spread, but it basically makes everything else hacking work MUCH better.

Tetratronic Rippler Mk.4 if you want finesse and precision with your quickhacks. Perfect for stealthy netrunners trying to remain unnoticed and it works beautifully for both regular and ultimate quickhacks with instant cooldowns.

NetWatch Netdriver Mk.5 if you want uncontrolled AOE quickhacks. Perfect for non-stealthy netrunners just wanting to quickly incapacitate a group of enemies with a single button.

However it's also bugged unfortunately as it only affects 2 instead of 3 targets;

I personally use the Rippler, as the Netwatch Netdriver doesn't fit my playstyle and its disadvantages are too many in comparison to the Rippler.

Oh, oops.

I'm running the rippler mk4 and it's godlike. I went in and crafted all the ultimates after I got it (been saving the crafting components the entire game from hacking access points). The instant I find a security camera, everyone inside the building is dead within a minute.

The Rippler Mk.4 is definitely faster and very powerful, but I find the Netdriver more capable since you're almost always dealing with groups of enemies. By the time you are levelled up enough to buy them, you can probably afford to buy them both and test them yourself...just swap them at a ripperdoc. Same goes for Sandefistan OS...

Quote myself from a while back (Basically a build concept on why Netwrunner is best overall Cyberdeck). You can skip down to Cyberdeck+Hacks used part of the post after Attributes spread:

A lot of the info on this topic is good. I think it would help though to post an endgame build to show what you should be aiming for, as a late game stealth netrunner/spy/agent build. That way you don't waste money and attribute points on things not needed.

General focus of my build: Mostly Quickhacks, Cold Blooded (quickhack/melee/general buff perks), Ninjutsu (quickhack/stealth/poison/melee perks) with monowire as secondary weapon to hacks. Then some Blades (for monowire), Breach Protocol, Crafting for legendary quickhacks etc.

Combat style: Pop off sonic shock + reboot optics from stealth, followed by contagion which should essentially disable everything and then mop up with silent AoE attacks from a chem damage Monowire (if required). I up my crit chance as much as possible to trigger cold blooded stacks on crit with Monowire, Contagion or other quickhacks. Best part is that all the damage is non-lethal, silent and undetectable due to perks/legendary hacks and cyberware. Great for achieving optimal "covert" roleplay mission completions.

Attributes: 20 Int, 20 Cool, 18-20 Tech (I go 18), 8-10 Reflex (I go 10 for heal counter attack), 3 Body

Netrunner Netdriver MK5: For Reasons stated above its the best because it makes all offensive quickhacks area of effect, while increasing their effect area greatly. Your perks should take care of quickhack cooldowns to the point you can cycle through hacks continuously.

Contagion - Legendary: Still your everything quickhack. It won't wipe out an entire base from the street anymore, but will still easily wipe out surrounding and engaged enemies. It's legendary version allows all offensive AoE quickhacks to spread 1 additional time (which when combined with our cyberdeck, is all of them).

Short Circuit - Legendary: A quick direct damage hack that when upgraded to legendary, applies the tier one effect (damage) to any weapon on crit. This includes unarmed for super high fist damage. I really like the shock on crit for Monowire because of its very fast AoE attacks. Hard to resist if not best in slot.

Reboot Optics - Legendary: Great for disabling ranged enemies and hiding. It also adds the optics jammer daemon for free. Combined with Vulnerability+Total Recall daemons, you easily qualify for the "three daemon or more" breach perks without investing into the less useful daemons.

Sonic Shock - Legendary: Like Reboot Optics, its great for disabling enemies especially in combination with the former (enemies are blinded AND deaf). More importantly, this quickhack prevents the enemy from being able to communicate with others when upgraded, meaning enemy netrunners won't hack you, nor will the base be alerted to your quickhack usage. A lot more important after the contagion nerf.

System Reset - Legendary: Ultimate quickhack that makes an enemy unconscious. Useful for an auto disable/win, but we really want it for the legendary passive. Each enemy defeated reduces ram cost by 1, stacking 6 times. So in large fights we basically will have free quickhack usage.

Ping - Legendary: Useful for scouting an area. We can't hack enemies through walls anymore, but we still can hack devices through walls with legendary version. Which means we can take control of computers etc. and then hack enemies with them instead. :p

Basically it comes down to the Netdriver deck improves the quickhacks that matter most late game. To the point where something like the suicide mission on hardest difficulty is made effortless. Taking the quickhacks above will make you an undetectable, unhackable apocalypse on two feet. :p

I'm using Netwatch Netdriver Mk.5. Reboot optics, suicide, short circuit and synapse burnout are my go to quickhacks.
NanoMaShane Feb 15, 2023 @ 9:15am
Rippler bro. Its amazing.
Mr_Blank Feb 20, 2023 @ 5:24pm
Net driver mk5. I run cyberpsycosis, detonate grenade, short circ, suicide, reboot and ping, and I have no issues. The thing is an absolute machine with 20 intelligence and every quick hack perk, even in the final missions.
RobotParty Feb 22, 2023 @ 4:53am
Honestly I ended up just using reset + short circuit at some point. Once you get crits with short circuit, you just end up 1-tapping every pair of enemies every 6~ seconds. Even then my non crits did like 8000 damage per lol, ♥♥♥♥ is wack. Especially with the netwatch deck.
Rumpelcrutchskin Feb 22, 2023 @ 9:58am
Rippler, double ultimates and you can still run contagion fine.
