Mods again are your friend - the TPP mod, although fairly basic, does a good job allowing your character to walk / run through Night City in third person.
Has a 360 camera - and multiple camera modes available. It is one of my original mods that I downloaded, still use it a few times each game session.
Is not suitable for combat though - mod author only had limited animations to work with at the time.
But is is better than what CDPR are going to offer for this game in terms of a TP mode.. which is diddly...

i know of the mod but heard of the rumour that we are getting it officially. looks like it was not for Cyberpunk. It's bizzare to play a game in 2023 with name 2077 with missing camera views of 1977.

It's not "missing", it's a creative choice. The game was designed pretty much from the ground up with 1st person in mind. It doesn't matter how many games have 3rd person or how old they are, we aren't entitled to 3rd person mode "just because".

Its still a first person designed game, does not matter if its a RPG.
I played first person RPG since the 90s, ( Ultima Underworld and so on).
This is nothing new or strange.

There are tons of RPG that only have a first person view.
If the game was designed for that camera angle then what is the problem?

Does anyone else remember the times where people where very fast with answering that someone should use the search function first? It seems like nobody writes that anymore. to my surprise, orcaa did it, last seen that in 2008 or something. cool !
