Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the issue on my end, since it's working fine for me in Cyberpunk 2077, but I had the issue in a different game and disabling and re-enabling the fps counter solved it for me there.
Right click on it in your library and make sure Steam Overlay is enabled. And naturally make sure the fps counter is enabled.
Yeah, that was my first thought - is *any* of the overlay working?
thanks, this fixed it. for optimal performance it was one of the things I unticked originally, following a guide.
just to be clear for people facing the same issue since there was no solution elsewhere I looked.. make sure to right click the game it self, and like crimson said make sure to keep the overlay for that specific game ticked.
