Bridge between Kabuki and Japantown
Has anyone else had an issue with this bridge being full of invisible barriers all of a sudden? It also has a number of low quality textured objects that phase in and out of visibility as well. This issue popped up since the update but I don't know what would have caused this from that.

Also seeing pieces of floating terrain and equipment in some places that had no problems before the update. One such spot is the Aldecaldos camp where the light on the truck with the makeshift watchtower is floating free of any support, the watch platform itself is just kind of floating there and there's a metal frame just floating a few feet off the ground in a few places in the camp as well. (edit: Think the frames might actually be meant to set on the truck but instead they're floating a few feet behind the truck.) Haven't seen anything like this since I played back near release. No idea what's suddenly causing this. Anybody have any ideas?

There's the one gas station outside of town where when I drive around to the parking area in the back of the garage I hit an invisible wall. If I get out of the car I can walk right through, but the car is blocked. I can get past it if I hug the left side. A developer must have plopped an invisible barrier there by mistake lol.

I also have seen floating debris here and there... drink containers in midair, and boxes floating a foot off the ground on the tops of mounds in the garbage dumps.

Yeah, it's the weirdest thing how everything was working almost perfectly before the update and now i'm having issues i haven't seen since the early patch states. Can't figure out why I'm getting these floating objects again and I don't really see much talk about it at all in the forums I have looked in.

Bit of an aside, but is anyone else getting localization errors in the settings menu? The top two options in the DLSS subsections and one in video are giving me errors in the settings that they aren't localized. It's ironically keeping me from turning on DLSS which I had on before the update. Can't run DLSS3 or whatever the new version is but I certainly could run the regular version.

To put your mind at ease, it's the game and not really something exclusive to a single update.

The floating objects are an extremely common occurrence, which is why nobody really talks about it since they happen all over the place and are impossible to properly report as bugs due to their random occurrence, except the Badlands junkyards which are just notoriously badly made set pieces with an insane amount of floating junk.

The game also sometimes does weird stuff with streaming assets which causes physics to go haywire and certain elements being misplaced. And also sometimes not even properly removing assets after quests.

Another unnecessary ground mesh without collision which is conflicting with this entire area.

So I report the more extreme ones to support, but the game sometimes just decides to do these kinds of random things that are extremely difficult to reproduce. Nothing you can really do about it to prevent it, other than report it when you're able to.

Wow the leftover NPCs in the nomadlands are impressive. I never saw something like that. But I saw a hotdog stand in an abandoned building in the 6th Streets area......:steamdeadpan:

Yeah, I figured it might be some sort of regular old glitchiness but it just seems so persistent compared to the standard kind of glitches. Just started a new game to test if the bridge was still jacked up in a new file and sure enough, the bridge was full enough of low quality textured concrete dividers and invisible barriers that none of the cop cars or mech could sit in their regular spot while the cutscene ran of Jackie sweetalking the cop to let us in. Ended up with the two cop cars going flying when they impacted some of the barriers that weren't normally there. Veeery strange. Guessing something must have gotten corrupted in the updating process. The options menu is also still messed up with the DLSS option being unlocalized and greyed out. Tried deleting and redownloading a ton of files but nothing seems to fix it so I think I'll just try for a clean install. What a bummer.

Edit: Finally figured out what the issue was. A mod called Night City Interactions just needed to be updated. I had totally overlooked it as a possible cause so I didn't even think to check it. Fixed all my issues once I downloaded the latest version.
