Windows + Atmos sound delay about 200-250ms

Anyone using windows 10 with atmos? The game supports atmos and I have it hooked up to my home theater. Everything in the game has about 200-250ms quarter second delay . It's especially noticable firing guns or when people talk their lips start moving before sound comes out. Other windows apps don't have this problem (i.e. netflix for example)
The game takes exclusive control over the sound (so no other sounds can be heard from windows while the game is using atmos, same thing netflix does) so I'd assume it should work but the delay is REALLY annoying.

what Atmos software are you using? your hardware's or the free dolby access app? download that app and configure your home theater through there and then make sure your audio settings are set to dolby atmos in the windows taskbar(right click the audio and choose atmos over 5.1 for example) and you actually see the light in your receiver turned on.

I've never had problems with this game on my home theater.

With that said though My HDMI cable is coming from the GPU's itself and sometimes you have to disable or uninstall the audio drivers for it work correctly

Just to be sure Atmos is only support through an HDMI connection not optical or aux at all.

Atmos is through my receiver, sound works great except the delay. I have the dolby access for windows 10 and then configured it for atmos. Works great like I said in netflix app without delay but for some reason this game has delay. The windows dolby access app is just to enable windows to tell other applications you have it, Windows itself doesn't generate atmos which i was hoping it would but it doesn't. The game takes over control of the audio device directly as does netflix app so there should be 0 delay

got ATMOS on win 10 now 11, no pb... it's my default soundsystem on pc. real-time...
