I think CDPR wanted to ensure his quest gets spread out a bit, so it's one players come back to every so often, not one they plow through all at once, so his quest marker vanishes when he goes to sleep on the mattress behind him.
It'll pop up again.
Is it normal ?
FYI I am only at the main quest ''The Information''. I completed many GIG and side quests thought, mostly all of them up to that point.
There is one encounter that involves a couple Nomads that you have to defend Garry from being killed by that will automatically trigger if you're anywhere near close to him, including inside Misty's.
If he's no longer there then that's the only thing I can think of that would cause it as far as his storyline goes.
Garry is probably one of my favorite NPCs, I always wish his set of side quests/conversations were a little longer.
I was there around did not hear anything, but the place with this bed is closed. I had 3 conversations with him at max.
Weird, and yeah sounds like you'll need to reload a save then as the Nomad instance is the 5th conversation where you get The Prophets Song quest from him, where you interrupt the meeting with the 'techno-necromancers' (I love that term) and Corpos.
Out of curiosity, have you donated to him at all, and if so how much each time?
I've always opted for the 100 donation in the 4 playthroughs so far, and have read conflicting things about whether donating (and how much) matters in any way or not.
Edit: I've also always completed this questline only after The Heist, so maybe that has something to do with it, particularly due to The Prophets Song quest specifically having a couple Johnny interactions during it.
On this website : https://cyberpunk2077.wiki.fextralife.com/The+Prophet's+Song
It claims we have to do it after first mission of ACT 2...
Things is I reloaded a save and same things happen, after third discussion it dissapear.
Ah, okay so yes, it's 'gated' by having to complete The Heist first before fully progressing his questline.
I recommend using the proper Wiki though instead because it is far more detailed and consistent; https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/The_Prophet%27s_Song
Also keep in mind that there are plenty of quests which won't show up or progress until you do certain missions.
And there are a few which are connected to other missions and will fail or vanish. So far I found these, though there may be more:
- Love Rollercoaster (you want to do it before Double Life) - https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Love_Rollercoaster
- Gun Music (if you wait too long it will automatically vanish) - https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Gun_Music
- I'll Fly Away (if you wait too long it will automatically fail) - https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/I%27ll_Fly_Away
So my advice would be either pass the time going to sleep or take care of other stuff.
