If Only CDPR had given us an mp3 player
I mean, lets face it, it's 2077. The fact that neither CDPR or any of the Various modders of the game out there have thought to do this perplexes me.

Why don't we have some kind of media player to listen to music while we're walking around NC? The games soundtrack is F-ing great. It sets the tone for the game in such an amazing way and yet, it never feels like it's in the spotlight. With all this cyberware installed on practically everybody, everywhere, why wouldn't there be a built-in music player? O r an animation of you r character sticking in some earbuds.. I would spend hours just walking form destination to destination, listening to tunes and taking in the sights of NC.

Such a missed opportunity......

Yeah would have been nice to have.

Then again, i already do this on a regular basis, why don't you try it too?

I listen to whatever music i want or podcasts while i drive and walk through the city without destination. the trick is youtube in the background. much more variet than the radio stations, which i honestly don't like 99% of.

In germany we say: "Selbst ist der Mann."
(lit: self is the man) = come up with a workaround :D

Yes, that would have been nice. You can do that with little issue in a variety of music players though. If on PC, there is also a mod for that.

Oh, ok... didn't know the mods are suppose to give us some really basic functions, not the company creating a game. Vice city had a damn mp3 player, and it is a game released in 2002.

Love listening to the Body Heat while driving, but everytime that Ponpon ♥♥♥♥ starts playing i jump out of the car.

I feel like a broadcast receiver/player for radio stations would be standard cerebral implant cyberware, while a custom music player would be a little bit "extra" for music enthusiasts.

I do wish we could actually listen to all of Samurai and Kerry Eurodyne's stuff, alongside Us Cracks and other in-game bands that are supposedly really popular or "cult classics" and yet you NEVER hear their stuff on any of the in-game radio stations.

The in game 'bands' are on all the radio stations. Cartesian Duelists are the RezoDrone songs (kill the messenger, Resist and Disorder), Perlious Futur are the Kevin Hastings songs, Tainted Overlord are the Deafkids songs, Lizzy Wizzy is Grimes, Tinnitus is Poloz...

Even tells you in the games credits what songs are on what radio station, with both the actual artists name and their in game band name.

The only music mod I have is one that mutes the radios. I was always getting the same song and listening to one song for hours was driving me mad.

If I want to listen to music I have iTunes set up on my laptop attached to a real amp and speakers.

you need 3 mods
radioEXT https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/4591
and pocket radio https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/2925
and to make it easy one of the many custom radio stations then you can just replace the songs with your own MP3 into its folder and listen to them while driving or while walking.

YES! So glad I'm not alone with that. Have the radio stations and all the included songs to listen to separately and also let you add your own music via a folder. I really hope this game gets the Witcher 3 / Skyrim SE treatment someday with some mods being integrated officially.
