Here's a link to a Virual Store that allows you to purchase All vanilla clothing from V's computer - All Vanalla Clothes Virtual Atelier[www.nexusmods.com]
Nah. The first time you're in V's appartment is after the Sandra Dorsett job, and there's a bunch of quest stuff going on, both when you arrive, and the next morning when you wake up and get a call from Jackie.
Virtual Atelier is disabled durring all of that. I'm not entirely sure if this is a deliberate choice on part of the mod author, or if it's caused by the game's own scripts, but regardless it means you can't use the mod yet.
Earliest you can use it is after you've gotten the call from Jackie and leave the appartment. You can then go right back in and the computer works now, and you can use the mod from then on.
the basic version works with just redscript/RED4ext and codeware frameworks
ArchiveXL is only required for the full version
Browser Extension is optional, as is mod Settings.
i use the 'basic' version rather than the 'full' edition
i have ArchiveXL/RED4ext/codeware/redscript but no mod settings/Browser Extension.
i get a seperate 'atelier' tab and 4 pages of stores (installed from various mods)
If i had the Browser Extension, the stores would appear in the 'net' tab.
have you checked the 'Net' tab in case you have the browser (full) version?
do you use REDMod? if so, you should try grabbing cybercmd (small mod that makes sure 'legacy' mods play nice with REDMod versions)
did you install the scripts in the script part of r6 and the .archive files in the the mod folder of archive/pc/mod? (for the stores, i mean)
if you are wanting to add extra (new) unique items such as clothing, weapons ect, did you remember to download and add those (and their dependancies, ususally ArchiveXL + TweekXL) into the game?
and the atelier stores that sell them?
also, the earliest you can get the atelier tab is in your office in the Corpo start (lol) tho i do not know if you can keep anything you bought from them in your inventory.
(i have never had anything to pick up and keep in that, while i have had a couple of junk items from the nomad start, and a tier1 item component from the streetkid start)
i've never tried buying from it there, tho i did take some time to browse for later (lol. Corpo virtual window shopping)
Nah, no worries.
Its boxing day, and I had to wait around in the kitchen while bbq pulled pork cooked, and keep an eye on the vegies boiling.
So replying on the forum is fine.
(Besides.... I've written whole pages that crit for +10 d20's worth of damage when failing your saving throw against languages XD so this is a quick dash off before the potatoes boil over :p)
I mod manually, so I always know its me that flubbed the install lol.
Recently got TweekXL and ArchiveXL working, so the ateliers are fresh in my mind.
I use vanilla stores in my 1.61 modded install, but new item ones in my modded 2.02.
(cheaper too. sometimes, all it costs you is a call and maybe a beer XD)
myself, i've been modding since the old days of dinosaurs like Win98 and Morrowind
(so i'm very familiar with Bugthesda and they are the reason why i mod manually for games like this.)
I do use workshop mods and the occasional manage system for some games tho (Workshop for my Project Zomboid and Starbound, and ATLauncher for the occasional dive back into minecraft.) it's just easier for those kind of mods/games.
but generally, i prefer to do it manually.
when i forget (like, with Oldrim or fallout4) i ask my input. he dart about games a lot more than i do, and he mods the hell outa things (like, Stellaris, warhammer40k ect) and he's always jumping from one game to another, so he frequently changes mods.
If i forget how to do mine (which i do, if i dont play them for long periods. then get a hankering for something i havent played in a while) i just ask him for a refresher.
otherwise, i would suggest you keep a notebook handy, and write down how to mod each game manually inside.
i did that when i was learing how to use HTML years ago (forgotten most of it, just remember that i could break my website by changing a single word in the code lol, if i wanted to remove my whole site)
still have the notebook, and i wrote the code down for my whole old site, because i was worried i would loose it on the online side.
i've even done that for how to use mods inside of mods.
back when i started using java minecraft, i took notes for many of the tech mods, or overhaul mods. (most of which no longer exist for current up to date mincraft XD)
