How to Find/Stop enemy netrunner hacking me?
How do I find or stop the netrunner hacking me? I'm trying to play as a stealth netrunner, killing just with hacks, but everytime the annoying revealing position hack from a enemy starts and I just can't find from where it's coming. I already have the perk 'I Spy' but still couldnt find out how it works

After you spend some points in quickhacking, the trash guys become trivial. Double damage on unaware targets, +30% damage, and so on. After a few points in the tree, you can just one shoot enemies one after the other.

And with crafted legendary quickhacks like "system reset" or "suicide", and the O/S that lets ultimates spread to another target, it becomes completely OP real quick.

There's a perk for that. But before you fight a mob, scan them to see what they do. Some are muscle, others shooters, others netrunners. When you tag the netrunner, take them out 1st. If the mob catches you in the act, run away, hide, let them cool down. Then take them out 1 by 1. BTW make sure you kill the netrunner fast, 2 hacks or a hack and other attack. Because if you don't, the mob will find you. Netrunning gets easier as you progress. Very fun way to play.
cheers all.

There's also cyberware that will cancel any enemy quickhacks on a cooldown. Since I installed that I rarely get identified as long as i'm relatively stealthy.

Another thing to note is that the reveal position hack specifically can be done by anyone, and is usually being done by the last person you hacked.

Once you get used to being a net-runner it is pretty OP.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Just apply heal and don't worry about them. If you just keep putting points into intellligence at level up, pretty soon the game will be very easy and repetitive around level 15.

Don't think they can hack you if never spotted by npc's or camera. If playing stealth build should take it slow and not get spotted. The perk isn't that great it will just outline there body through walls from a distance. Most of the time you won't be able to reach them in time. Unless rush right towards them before hacking you. Later on wouldn't even matter can't remember if they cause bleed or burn. Either way can get all immunity for all dot damage like poison, burn, shock and bleeding. Can get most if not all through perks, Can also get mods for clothes and also implants for full immunity. So they eventually won't even being able to ♥♥♥♥. Accept annoy you.

I think he's talking about the fact that all enemies can now run a trace on you when you quickhack them, which will reveal your position. It was introduced in a patch, alongside nerfs to quickhacking in general. All you can do is kill or incapacitate them quickly, before the trace finishes. I also believe only the damage-dealing quickhacks trigger it, but I'm not completely sure.
