minimum intel needed for all access points?
I'm playing with the aim to go Body, Tech, Reflex and Cool all around 16-18 points.

This is because level 20 seems a bit pointless for most attributes as they only give an extra ability i don't really need. So instead of maxing out some stats i was gonna use the saved points to put into Intel.

What is the the level of the highest access points in the game to hack for eddies? If it is around 7-8 then i might have enough points to throw in for it.

Does the total amount of Attribute points you can have amount to 74? I can't remember.

I saw one that required 19 in a random spot. If your not using net run build you do not need to spec into intel points unless your after crit chance/dmg cyberware. I made most of money just picking up loot from npcs and selling them.

Well i think i will aim for 7-8 as most access points are that level throughout the game, few are higher if i remember right. You can make so much extra cash from APs. If you wanna buy everything you need it.

5x 3 +7 at start, +1/lvl over 1 = 71 stats total at level 50.

Access points don't give that much $, and given all the ways to make $ that seems like an odd reason to spend attribute points.

You can get all the legendary quickhacks with 3 Int if you wait until level 35+ or 40+ to use very high value and high value access points.
(low value access points only give green quickhacks, some that don't give $ can give legendary quickhacks at high level too.)

In all areas there are some no Int req access points.
The access points with Int reqs scale based on where they are, Watson will be 4 or 5*, japantown 5 or 6, city center has a bunch of 14s (and a few higher).
(1 place in Watson they are 7 because it is the end point of a quest you get much later in the game...)
The reward from access points is in no way tied to the Int req.

The way you make $ is:
get to level 50 and farm gangsters (they can drop 2k purple items at that point)
spam craft
dupe glitch

access points actually give very little $ in total...

Also with a buffer of 4 how can you expect to gain more eddies from APs
Doombringer Oct 12, 2022 @ 2:11pm
You buy the good cyberdeck in the watson ripperdoc = 8, a lot of times you just do code 2+3.
(If you are out of watson there are many good cyberdecks available.)

Again: access points $ is about what you get from clearing 3 man enemy group at level 50... and those respawn instantly and infinitely if you know where to skill/xp farm.

I have a 4 Int and 8 Int character with all the legendary quickhacks, I wish my 4 Int character was 3 so I could have 8 Body for better cyberware...
If you don't really use quickhacks then Int is only useful for buffing the passive ability of short circuit on crit hit builds, and once you 1shot everything buffing that damage higher is pointless.

Intelligence is the dump stat in this game anyway. Figuratively and literally.

why would i do that when i am playing sandevistan build ffs
Adeptus Lebowski Oct 12, 2022 @ 3:00pm
cyberdeck build is boring so i wanna go full slow time sandevistan etc, that is why i asked wht level intel do i need to get the best out of access points without using a cyberdeck.
