RTX 3080 getting way too hot 74°C ...liquid is "bubbling"

CP2077 is the only game making my pc go THAT HOT.
I have a low performance reshade on and a mix of HIGH mid options. DLSS OFF / RTX effects on. Most of the shadow options are on medium.

Anyone familiar with such temperature spikes and how to manage those ?

Probably time need to repaste, but will have to know what resolution you're running on. my laptop on max ultra settings go as high as 74-76, 1080p though.

74°c is not that hot and 110% dont make anything bubbling.
Hardware demanding Games are demanding hardware is also normal.

74c is not too hot. you can try repasting or get a case suited for better airflow.

not necessary though since your max temp is nothing to worry about.

74c is nothing whatsoever for a GPU. My 3080Ti normally hits around 78-81c when playing very demanding games @4K60+. The fact your hitting 74c with those settings is impressive.

70 - 75 degrees is perfectly standard on a 3080.

I wouldn't even look at temps unless they're hitting 90+.

Well I guess you guys missed the part where he says "bubbling". Liquid cooling. I have a 3080ti stock fans (which runs hotter than 3080) and play at 70-72C.

74 for liquid cooling seems hot indeed. Increase your case fan speeds maybe, dont know.

However, nothing to worry about still. A gpu can handle 74C. I have a 10 year old gaming laptop which I played games at 85-90C all the time and its still working so.

Max temp is above 90C, so if liquid is boiling then there are issues with your cooling solution. Card can live ok at 75C.

The maximum temperature (officially from Nvidia) is 93°.

Something here is wrong either way... Most liquid cooling coolants have boiling points of 100 °C or above, having it boiling at 74 °C is concerning imo.

It sounds like there may be a physical issue; perhaps thermal paste as has been pointed out, or maybe your CPU cooler. I realize 74c to many people is not "too hot"; but I run a 13900k (notoriously hot chip) and still manage to stay under 70 degrees Celsius (CPU) at 4K and a 4090 with this title. The 4090 barley gets above 66 Celsius.

I hope you are able to find a solution for your machine.

74c is not hot not even close hot is over 95c 74c is great temp

Just got back from work, here a few other informations.
I got my pc checked because of the "bubbling liquid" and few temperature spikes, 3 months ago.
The tech said that he changed the thermal paste and even pushed it to the max with 3D Mark and found nothing too alarming.
He told me that I might from time to time "inclinate the pc" to chase the air bubbles
when it's bubbling (it's the case with CP2077 or Metro Exodus).

You know the specific sound those bubbles make is like when you spin a bicycle wheel. It makes the exact same sound.Might indeed be a bad liquid quality maybe.

I will check the processor temperatures with the "Core Temp" and "Cpuid-Cpuz" programes he installed.

Other than that I have no problems with other games.

BTW it's a new gaming tower pc I got in April:

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor 3.80 GHz
RTX 3080 10Gb
Windows 10 x64

Processor core temperature is between 67 and 83 °C with RTX effects on.

That is much higher than my RTX 3080 Ti. Mine has never gone above 67. My model is Asus TUF Gaming OC.
