Skippy wont tell me about his owner

I've killed 50 people with Skippy. He told me I've killed enough and switched modes but he wont talk about his owner to start the mission. I've done everything from sleep for a few days, skipped time for days, walked around with him out, and have been using him still he switched modes, but he won't say anything to start the mission. Some things I looked up say wait 2 days in game, some say 3. At this point I've waited weeks and nothing.

I have no clue if this is relevant but I upgraded Skippy to legendary. Might just be faster to Google it at this point, friend.

Waiting is "in game" actual time, skipping time doesnt count.

You will eventually get a message. it's not like you can sell it by accident.

you have to kill 50 people in both modes

after you kill 50 people in one mode it will start a conversation with you to set it to one mode or the other than permanently. Then after another 50 kills it will suddenly remember that it belongs to Regina Jones and want you to return it. There is not consenquences for doing so and she will off a pittance of a cash reward for it. Instead it will hilariously yell "Bad User" every time you take the gun out which is great for LOL's.

Everyone admit it you want to be told by Skippy that your a bad user!

Nope. Over 50 people in one mode to trigger the change and wait for the notification to go see Regina. At that point you can say you are going to keep it and it has it's little tantrum.

From that point you can sell it, stick it in your wall or decide to give it to regina anyway.

Pretty sure skipping time doesn't work for the second phase where he tells you about his old owner. I think it's based on actual time rather than in game time.
