Give us something to do after we have cleared the map!
Please, I love the game, but I have cleared the map and have nothing left to do.

That's your cue to do a new play through.

I don't want to do another playthrough. Would love to see some randomized or radiant missions though. Just go around and chop people down with my mantis blades.

Well, this might come in the next update, maybe. Seeing as vehicle combat, police chases, etc... has been announced on stream by the game director. Hopefully in patch 1.7... hopefully... But you really should start another playthrough xD Try a different build and lifepath.

yeah i hope they address this somehow, something like arena or mission/gig replays. but seeing as a police system overhaul is in the works, that might suffice as much.

It's not so much that i want endless content, but with things being one off i have an intrusive thought telling me "there's one less thing to do now" everytime i complete a gig or an ncpd crime scene. It's purely psychological but it's there, am i the only one with this ?

I am the same, which is why it took me months to finally complete the game. I always wanted something left to do, so I held of doing most missions and stuff.

Almost every single player game comes to an end at some point. You might want to consider a new character with a different play style...guns,melee,stealth, net runner. There are a few different builds to choose from. Might keep you going until the expansion comes out. Anyways, just a suggestion. Have fun !

exactly ..its a single player game, it will end like 'every' other single player game.

There are single player sandbox games that never end, like X4 Foundations, Mount & Blade Bannerlord.

My point is, they could add some repeatable content and keep the game alive and popular.
Gang turf wars?
Hit jobs?
Taxi jobs?
Etc...

Then what's stopping you? There are hundreds of gangoons littering the streets of Night City even after you've cleared out all the gigs and hustles, you can go fight them anytime you want. They respawn infinately aswell.

Just because they don't have a quest marker put on them, doesen't mean they aren't there.

Yes, I did find some that had respawned, and it was fun dealing with them. But it might be hard to find such places without a marker. And my memory is terrible.

No, this is completely normal. The idea that radiant quests are bad is pure BS being pushed by hack devs who can't implement the basic features we came to see as standard with the likes of Skyrim and GTA 3. They want us to lower our standards so they can lower theirs.

No, but this game is more RPG (like actual pnp RPG) or "book style narrative" and not an mmo grinder.

Its a natural part of the gameplay that it has an ending and after it ends you can "do it again different".

Counterpoint:
Procedural quests are "low-standards" trash thrown in by teams that have trouble propping up their games with actual crafted content.

"HELLO [PLAYER], PLEASE KILL [ENEMY] AND BRING ME [x] OF [ITEM] AND YOU WILL BE GIVEN [TRASH_ITEM}" is not a "high standard" of design. People write these into roguelikes as hobby projects, and they [i]lower[/i] the quality of a narrative driven game.
