Anyone else play with Screen Space Reflections off?
It's always bugged me how grainy they look even on ultra, just make every surface look super grainy.

I always turned off Film Grain but the game still had this look and I really didn't like it. Turning the Screen Space Reflections off cleans up the entire image and makes the game look super sharp/smooth I love it. And you get a huge savings on performance with them off, but IMO the game looks much better.

I used to play High settings 4k Quality FSR for a constant 60fps anywhere, but with them turned OFF I can bump the FSR to Ultra Quality and its beautiful.

Not sure why the Screen Space Reflections look so bad in this game, games like Destiny 2 they're really beautiful. And even when you turn off Screen Space Reflections you still get plenty of other reflections anyways, so IMO there is no negative to getting rid of them.

Am I alone or do you guys do the same?

SSR is the ultimate performance killer. When I started this game I had a 1050 TI and could play 1080 ultra as long as SSR was off, FPS was about 40-45 average which I didn't mind. Any use of SSR and the game was unplayable. Now I have a 3050 with RTX on and SSR at ultra and I get the same average FPS on a card that's about 3 times faster. DLSS helps too because without it I get FPS in the low-mid 20's.

I turned it off because I use raytraced reflections, looks so much better.
