Can a GTX 1050ti Laptop + i7-8750H run this game smoothly with patch 1.6?
As per title. Been wanting this game for a long time but just scared that I won't be able to play it properly. Thanks.

If you've been waiting this long then wait a bit longer for FSR 2.x to be officially implemented in the game and check for benchmarks for laptops the same as your's when it is.

Here's a PC build benchmarking 1.6 with the same specs as you give for your laptop (adjust expectations as suits):

if you're alright with low settings 30 fps average then sure. maybe a bit more with fsr 1.0 enabled.

the game will eventually get fsr 2.0 so that should improve quality and performance although you may be cpu bound.
gtx 1650 it fine for me

1650 mobile outclasses the 1050 ti moblie by quite a bit and is not equivalent to compare.

Running on a GTX 1050 with an Intel I7 on a mix of low to high settings. My average FPS is around 30 but in certain places it can go up to 120 FPS if I don't constrain it.

I used to play this game starting from patch 1.5 (when I switched over from Xbox) with only 8gb RAM and on an HDD. It would stutter and be very slow to load in assets and particles even when there isn't anything crazy going on, much like how it would be on a last-gen console. I have since upgraded to an NVMe SSD and 16gb RAM which fixed all of the stuttering and loading issues. At this point, its my GPU bottlenecking performance but its playable and honestly, doing much better than I was anticipating.

EDIT: I also play this at 1280x720 resolution so that might contribute to the consistent performance especially after upgrading my laptop a bit.

I use to run it on a GTX 1070 at ultra 1080p with only screen space reflections turned down a notch and had about 40fps average across the entire game which was playable

a 1050 could run it but I wouldn't use more then medium settings on it

Before building my new pc, on day one of release I was on a 1050ti i5 7500 at 60 - 80 frames as I had a gsync monitor.

I would imagine 1.6 is a bit more polished and optimised now so you should be fine. I wouldn't expect to run it on the best settings though.

its actually not, the best performance version so far was 1.5

1.6 I actually lost about 10 - 15fps with same settings

does the 1050Ti even support FSR?

FSR, yes. DLSS, no.

I can't begin to imagine why you would want to play any immersive first-person game on a laptop --- with weak performance and a tiny screen.

I only have this gaming laptop to play games on.

Possibly; but the fans on your laptop are gonna be huffing and puffing.
