Ray tracing vs No RTX
I have a rtx 3080 ti if I turn on rtx with the reflections I get from 70 to below 60 fps, if its off I get well over 70-85 fps, which is worth the most.

Matter of preference, but since the game plays well at 50 FPS I turn RTX on.
are u mad? Aug 10, 2022 @ 1:45pm
3050, using max settings and rtx, having 45+ fps with dlss (without rtx 65+), so if you don't use dlss I highly recommend
What resolution? What CPU?

With a 12700K and RTX 3080 at 1440P with every setting at it's absolute max (+DLSS set to Quality) it's about 60-70 FPS with some slight dips below 60 at times, but nothing annoying. I haven't tested with RTX off because why spend a lot of on PC when you're not going to push it to its limits.

I also have a 12700k and 3080 and play at 1440p with medium ray tracing and reflections, and don't use absolute max settings. DLSS set to balanced. I like a good deal of headroom above 60 and absolutely no drops below, so I'm willing to trade off a little bit. Honestly can't tell the difference visually with max settings, and the game is beautiful. I have it hooked up to my home theater so I play it on a couch on a 4k tv, so where I'm sitting it's hard to tell the difference between 1440p and 4k.

I have 3440x1440 with a ryzen 7 5800x 8 cores with dlss on quality

At 1080p I get well over 90 fps solid but doing 1080p is impossible on my monitor and is the reason I got this GPU

I dont think the graphical upgrade is worth losing like 50 fps lmao. I have a 3070 and get 100 fps average with everything maxed in most situtations, and like 55-60 with Ray tracing on.

Oh yay baby gimme those 50-61FPS with high settings and Raytracing in 2K.
My glorified supped up pentium is still rocking it.

Seriously though game is playable at low 50FPS so going much more over is sort of pointless. If you are really upset about it, complain that games dont support SLI/nVlink/Crossfire much anymore...Cyberpunk 2077 really should have supported this day01.

Yup its just combat is hard at low fps, when your not use to it and 80% of the time I just want to smoothly explore this vast open amazing world, sadly we cant. I feel ya bro!

i'd keep rtx on if it wasn't for the map lag bug that leaks into gameplay. until then, having it off and everything else on ultra with dlss makes an enjoyable experience.
3060 12gb all settings maxed out. 60 fps at 1920x1080. 50 fps at 2560x1440.

Ingame menu options.

Video: Vsync > 60
MaxFps > off
Windowed mode > fullscreen
Resolution > 2560x1440 (gives 50fps)
HDR > none

Graphics: Basic: Filmgrain > off
Chromatic aberration > off
Lensflare > off
Motionblur > low

Advanced: all settings > all maxed out

Raytracing: reflections off > everything else on and slider to ultra.

Resolution scaling: performance, everything disabled

C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077

2 files here, ChrashInfo.json and UserSettings.json. Change extension from json to txt, to read and to adjust the file.

Non game adjustments, go to taskmanager and disable everything edge related. Also don't use armoury crate and it's browser. Don't use AI suite only to set the cpu speed and exit it.

Ray tracing looks certainly nice but also sometimes to dark or just to many reflections. Its looks more beautiful with it on but when its off some things actually looks more naturel and less dark. The shadow contrast is to deep for me with rtx on. Also a higher fps doesnt hurt either [rtx 3080]

Have you read the config file. UserSettings.json. Change extension from json to txt, to read and to adjust the file. That includes brightness, shadow contrast, reflections and how many time they bounce from reflective surface to surface.

1440p, "quality " dlss, max everything and you should get an amazing looking experience that runs around 60-80 fps.
Yes but its the 3440 pixels wide than the 1440p my resolution is pretty high and causing this

sli and crossfire often were buggy, didn't work or only offered like 20% more performance at double the cost, that's why they're not around any more.

For something that in 3-5 years is accomplished by 1 flagship card. Pretty much.
Only kind of game that I think might be worth it would be like MMO games, just not my cup of tea though. Someone else prob play that for 10 years though and sure for them worth it.

CDproject Red though makes games that are really ahead the times though so it does not seem right that they dont offer all the goods.
