The original idea was for the multiplayer to be standalone rather than part of the game itself. A less monetised version of Rockstar's online games kind of thing.

Only if it came with the base game...So basically no, since I already "own" the game.
Not interested in paying more, unless they would like to actually sell me actual ownership of the game rather than a license to use aka rent the game.

No. Cyberpunk was a single player game from the beginning. Most people who paid full price for this game were aware that it was single player. I love single player. I would not pay additional money for something I didn't want in the first place.

Not true. The planned multiplayer was announced as a stand-alone project before CP77 released. The stand-alone project was later cancelled, but this didn't affect CP77 since it wouldn't have been part of it anyway.

Depends on quality and quantity of the multiplayer content. I'd definitely happily pay for something like GTA Online with constant new content over years. Since they really did create a very nice virtual world with Night City It would almost be a shame not to build upon it. Yes, I know, CD Projekt Red terribly ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the launch. Still, since the grosses clearly have been far below expectations, despite all, I'd rather give them a second chance to build a lasting cyberspace world in a growing Cyberpunk 2077 Online than see Night City end up a ghost town and see CD Projekt Red close down or be sold out.
