Gorilla arms & weapon full potential
I've been doing some research on this topic but I have only found conflicting statements. I'm hoping by making this thread someone could clarify it for me.

I'm planning to do stealth gunslinger weapon crafter character (Reflex 20, cool 20 & technical 18 and then I have 7 spare points which I can put in body or intelligence). Now my preference would be to put them into intelligence to have a few more options available.

The main weapons I want to use are Revolvers & Sniper rifles. I noticed that on snipers (especially the ones I plan on using) and some revolvers you need a body check of 10 to use them effectively. As I understand it, this only impacts recoil, but since recoil can be a pain I would like to minimize it.

Then I read that Gorilla arms are an option. Based on the rarity you get +2/4/6 I believe to Body. Some sources said that the gorilla arms do not count towards the body check (the red warning remains active even when you reach 10 in combination with gorilla arms) but people do say that it helps with the recoil, making it possible to use the weapon to its full potential.

Some sources said they were able to use weapons effectively without reaching the 10 body check even when using gorilla arms.

The questions I now have are:
1) Do gorilla arms effectively reduce the recoil and help towards using weapons to their max potential
2) Do you need to reach a total of 10 body (in combination with gorilla arms) or does it not matter at all, as long as you're using gorilla arms (so for example just the +2 ones at 3 Body would allow me to user full potential of those weapons).

The weapon I want to end up using is Overwatch (big shock) and I would like to use it to it's full potential so I need to know if I should invest to 4 Body & get +6 gorilla arms or if I can stay at 3 and use any arms, or if I need to actually pump Body to 10 and gorilla arms are irrelevant.

Any clarification on the topic would be awesome.

AFAIK the arms give you the bonus and it counts towards the weapon's full potential. So, AFAIK you need your body stat + X bonus = 10.

1. Yes
2. Yes, 10 minus Gorilla Arms is needed, so if your Arms give you 3 then you need 7 Body.
3. Overwatch doesn't need 10 body from what I remember, I could be wrong. Also Overwatch doesn't penetrate walls like a Grad does.

Overwatch is totally overrated. Is not worth your time.

The inventory info will say you don't have enough body, but it should still work like you do.
