If you mean do I tell Dex about Evelyn trying to cut him out then I tell him every time.
I chose Evelyn, because I could tell which way the wind was blowing from the start.
After the initial convo about him with Welles, and speaking with Dex in the car, and T-Bug at the meeting, I could see just what kinda guy he was and to definitely not trust him by his word. Not only that, after our partner died and we meet Dex at the hotel, his bodyguard is acting suspiciously, so I knew something was up, and it just reinforced my profile of Dex as a 'only looks out for #1 kinda guy'.
and i think the game makes a point out of this. both are people that went for that jackpot and they lost everything. they thought they could outsmart everybody and lost against the city.
Don't forget he'd been chased out of Night City before because he was a sleeze.
Evelyn isn't much better, but she's just a schemer. She might stab me in the back plan wise, but she won't actually stab me in the back like dex would.
That's the way I personally role played it. Just because I committed to the job didn't mean I wasn't going to have V cover his @$$ with a dodgy fixer if things went south (which they did, of course). As someone else mentioned the outcome is the same, but I felt like I stayed true to my version of V. He stayed true to the people that were open and honest with him, and kept things close to the vest with those that weren't. You can't be a legend in Night City if you don't survive long enough to earn a reputation.
