How do you capture a cyber psycho alive?
I’m not too far in but what do I need to subdue these targets without terminating them?

I said usually. To be sure, finish them off with a non-lethal attack. All blunt weapons and fists count as non-lethal. Guns with the "Pax" mod are non-lethal. And there is a mod for the cyberwear optics you can install that makes all attacks non-lethal. But even non-lethal attacks will kill them when their health is at zero, so you need to stay under control.

When they get very low on health you shoot slowly. Don't use a weapon that shoots multiple shots at once.

Do they just give up? What cues should I look for to ease up and wait for them to surrender.

Is easier than it seems, my way is, shoot them untill they have very little life left and then use Electrocute quickhack, you can also use a weapon mod that make the weapon non lethal, you need to make a bit of search in some gunstores around night city
Good Luck!

And nope, they don't give up, you have to remove all their health bar, but with non lethal stuff

Don't aim for the head when the target is really low hp (single digit). There is an optional mod that makes all shots non-lethal. Consider not using Shotguns. Use shock when the target is low. Consider using blunt melee. I personally use Gorilla arms with the legendary mod that makes targets bleed, and I basically just go into evasive mode when they're at 2-3% and let them bleed out, which for some remarkable reason, does not kill them.
Easiest is with high burst damage blades and going for staggering attacks. Aim for the legs now and then, and you'll keep them stunlocked.

Watch their HP meter, and make sure to hit them only once when the next attack is going to drop them to zero percent.

you dont actually need non lethal weapons. you can just reduce their healthbar to zero carefully and then when they fall they will be unconscious unless you shoot em after they collapse or you just keep on shooting as they fall.

its not too hard

The cues are very low health, the big red bar at the top of the screen, then hit them with one bullet at a time and when they fall down, then stop.

I can usually one shot them in the head with a Grad

You can also sneak up on them grab them and knock them out

don't go for headshots and stop shooting when the cyberpsycho is defeated.

...or you can get an optical camo and sneak up behind and knock them out. that's pretty boring though :/

I use any weapon to get their health low enough, then swap to gorilla arms to finish the job. It becomes pretty simple after a few times. Dont use any melee weapons with any type of lethal status effect. Dont want them bleeding out after they hit the ground lol. Physical Gorilla Arms is your best friend in this scenario. One thing not many people consider is quicksaving. i quicksabe before everything just.. in cae lol

I had a dedicated Masamune rifle with a Pax mod that I used as a 'finishing' gun when I had knocked down their health enough. You can also equip a Kiroshi mod [target analysis?] that turns all your ranged weapons non-lethal. It can still be tricky though...'non-lethal' is theoretical more than a real thing. There's one cyberpsycho [parking garage guy] that I found impossible to keep alive...next playthrough I'll try manual takedowns maybe.

Even when you run around with a gun, you can always pistol-whip them for the last few points of health.
Just gun them down. As long as you don't shoot them after their health has already hit 0, it's fine. Doesn't work if their health was reduced to 0 by a headshot or explosion.
